About

Your data never leaves your browser

Every page on this site is plain HTML. The decoder runs as a small script inside your browser. Nothing you paste is sent anywhere — there is no server to send it to.

This matters because people paste URLs containing session tokens and API keys into tools like this one. Here, those never leave your machine.

About the history list

The history is stored in your browser's local storage. It stays on this device and is never uploaded. The Clear all button removes it. If you are on a shared computer, use that button when you are done.

The list keeps the last 25 entries and only records when you press a button, copy a result, or click out of the box — not while you type.

Share links

What you type is mirrored into the part of the address after the #. That part is never sent to a web server by any browser, so you can share a link to a decoded URL without it being logged along the way.
